We’re Hiring: Construction and Operations Manager to Lead Project Delivery
As Jersey’s leading renewable energy installation company, and with over a decade in business, SunWorks specialises in the design, installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, roofing services, energy efficiency upgrades and EV charging equipment, supporting the island’s future energy and environmental goals.
SunWorks is expanding its operational leadership team with the creation of a new senior role.
SunWorks is now expanding its operational leadership team with the creation of a new senior role. With more than 600 properties already powered by our systems, our customer base continues to grow. Established in 2013, the company remains family-owned and operates with a modern, agile management structure and a strong reputation for trust, quality and technical expertise.
We are entering a new phase of steady growth and internal development. Our expanding project pipeline now spans a range of related sectors from residential rooftop solar to commercial installations for clients including Jersey Electricity and Andium Homes.
Our roofing division delivers a complete in-house service, from re-roofing and slate tiling to integrated solar PV and insulation upgrades. With trained technicians and scaffold-capable teams, we’re able to deliver complex, multi-skill projects and explore new possibilities not yet realised in Jersey’s construction and energy sectors. In addition, we support the island’s net zero ambitions through EV charger installations and energy efficiency projects aligned with the Government of Jersey’s Carbon Neutral Roadmap.
Recently, SunWorks welcomed a new Commercial Manager who relocated from the UK to support our front-end growth with solar expertise. With this investment in sales and strategy, we now turn to delivery and the need for strengthened coordination across our installation and operations functions.
To support this, we’re creating a new senior role: Construction and Operations Manager.

Why This Role, and Why Now?
SunWorks are one of the few companies on the island able to offer a complete re-roof and solar integration a unique, joined-up service that places SunWorks at the centre of Jersey’s energy transition. This capability has brought new responsibilities, such as the ongoing re-roofing and solar upgrade of St. Clement’s Parish Hall. The aim is to strengthen industry credibility, enhance leadership, bring clarity and operational control, shaping the future of delivery at SunWorks.
We believe this role could suit someone with a background in construction management or quantity surveying, seeking a long-term and strategic role in a dynamic and respected local construction business.
Investment in Our Premises & People
Following the award of government funding via the Jersey Business “Better Business Grant”, SunWorks is also investing in a full transformation of our St Helier Business Park premises. The new space due for completion by the end of 2025, will feature a reconfigured warehouse, new entrance and loading area, and a mezzanine floor all designed to support job readiness, stock control, and more efficient material handling. This has led to a new role recently created for appointment of Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator.
The new role will help ensure the SunWorks team is fully prepared for the challenges ahead in the industry maintaining best working practices, upholding quality at all times, and supporting the training of the island’s future tradespeople.
