The Brief

The Beekeepers Association had no electricity on the land, they had a shed with a flat roof and were looking for a source of power for lights at night, to run the kettle for guests and to power pumps to their pond.

Solution

We understood the assignment and explored Off-Grid systems for the Association. We managed to maximise the roof space for the Fusion Flat Fix mounting system which provided just under 5kw system, paired with an off-grid inverter and DC coupled battery to ensure they were able to use stored electricity for nighttime.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with SunWorks for this project, there are plans to build an education centre here for the future beekeepers of which we will definitely need a larger system to produce more electricity to our off-grid sheds!
