Jersey Mencap (JM) runs a number of projects for people with a learning disability in Jersey. JM know having a Learning Disability can mean you are more at risk of isolation, exclusion and inequality. They offer a wide range of activities through our social club, art project, sports sessions and horticultural projects – they aim to offer something for all our 150 members. Having more choice, doing activities you enjoy and sustaining friendships (all of which can be that much harder when you have a disability) can make a huge difference to your overall wellbeing.
The Sustainable Cooperative (SCOOP) aim to create a more sustainable future in Jersey by transforming the local food system and building relationships between different stakeholders. We support growers and producers that protect or enhance our natural resources and biodiversity. We see our diets as a tool for positive change.
